Our Story

Morrison King is the husband-and-wife musical duo of Neil Morrison and Gentry King Morrison. Drawing from a lifetime of friendship, faith, and shared musical experiences, the pair blend rich vocal harmonies and heartfelt storytelling into a sound rooted in country, Americana, folk, blues, and rock.

Long before they were husband and wife, Neil and Gentry spent more than fifteen years as best friends—writing songs, performing on stages across the country, leading worship, and walking alongside one another through the highs and lows of life. Their friendship became the foundation for a love story neither of them saw coming, but one that now shapes every note they create together.

Many first discovered Neil and Gentry as members of The Joy Reunion, whose journey led them to NBC's Season 21 of The Voice, where they earned a spot on Team Blake Shelton. Following the show, they joined Blake Shelton's Ole Red Spring Blake Tour and went on to share stages with a number ofnotable country artists, including The Band Perry. In 2023, they joined Ryan Adams & The Cardinals on tour while supporting their friend and fellow artist Ruby Force.

As Morrison King, the pair draw from a wide range of influences including country, Americana, folk, blues, and rock. Their music is rooted in honest storytelling, powerful harmonies, and songs that explore love, loss, redemption, resilience, and the beauty found in everyday life.
